How The Weekly Meal Service Works

With a meal service plan, you receive a weekly menu of 5 freshly prepared gourmet dishes that you can reheat and eat at your convenience throughout the week.

All of the dishes are made from scratch and cooked in small batches, packed in recyclable or reusable packaging, and accompanied by reheating instructions and a menu card.

Receive a menu of 5 freshly prepared dishes each week, sufficient for 4-5 meals
depending on your appetite.

DOUBLE

Receive a double portion of each dish, providing 4-5 meals each for two people, or 8-10 meals for a single person.

  • This subscription service is ideally suited for persons without severe allergies who would classify themselves as “non-picky eaters”.

    You are, however, invited to choose between the 3 following menu packages according to which best fits your lifestyle:

    • Omnivore (you happily eat everything)


    • Vegetarian/Pescatarian


    • Low-Carb


    Menus are plant-centric and designed with an eye for variety; providing fresh and balanced whole foods without sacrificing appeal or flavor.

    If you are interested in a subscription but have a specific dietary need or restriction that must be taken into account, please contact us to discuss the possibility of an arrangement.

  • Your menu is available for pick up or delivery starting at 12 noon on Tuesdays.

    Our kitchen is located at Cafe Caspar in the 1st district (Grillparzerstrasse 6), across the street from the Rathaus and about a 5 minute walk from Schottentor. The cafe is open from Monday-Friday from 11:00 - 23:00, and you are always welcome to pick up your food at any time from Tuesday at 12 noon, onwards.

    Alternatively, it is also possible to arrange for delivery to your home or office for an additional fee.

    Weekly delivery fees: 



    • Districts 1-9, 20: €7.00

    • Districts 10-19: €8.00

    • Districts 21-23: €9.00

    Deliveries likewise go out each week starting on Tuesdays in the early afternoon. If you opt for home delivery we will confirm the planned delivery window with you each Sunday when we send out your weekly email preview.

  • Every new customer is automatically given a two-week trial to test out the food and the service. (Normal weekly subscription prices apply.)

    If after two weeks you find that a meal subscription is a good fit for your lifestyle, we’ll reconnect to discuss your upcoming schedule and put you on the roster for future weeks.

  • Your meal delivery schedule is highly customizable around your work and travel plans.

    At the end of each month we will contact you with the delivery dates for the upcoming month. From there you can let us know which dates you would like to book, and which you would prefer to skip. At that point billing will be adjusted to reflect just the weeks you booked for the month.

    Of course if your work or travel plans change late-notice, just let us know! If you need to delay a delivery you have already payed for, we can simply credit the week towards your next booking.

    Delaying a planned delivery is possible without any additional fees up until 5 days before the delivery date (so - Thursday deadline for a Tuesday delivery).

    • 5+ Days notice to delay a delivery: No Fee.

    • 4-2 Days notice to delay a delivery: 30% of weekly subscription fee due to account for purchased ingredients.

    • 1-0 Days notice to delay a delivery: 100% of weekly subscription fee due. (At this point we recommend gifting your meal delivery to a friend!)

    You can also add in a delivery late notice without any fees. Just reach out and let us know your change of plans and we will do our best to accommodate you. Depending on how last minute the request is, we might not be able to squeeze you into the roster, but if we can we will make it happen.

  • We strive for sustainability in both our shopping and cooking practices as well as our packaging.

    Our food is made from scratch in-house (including all sauces and marinades!), freshly prepared with ingredients sourced from local butchers, farmer’s markets, and professional restaurant suppliers.

    As such, we plan our menus according to the season, and do our best to make the most of the beautiful local ingredients at our fingertips. Vegetable scraps become flavorful vegetable stocks, excess herbs become pestos and dips, and we strive to let nothing go to waste.

    All of the food is packaged re-usable, recyclable, or compostable containers. Any plastic cups or packaging items are BPA free. Your food is then packed into a re-usable cooler bag for delivery.

    When you are finished with the re-usable containers, simply rinse them out and pack them back into the cooler bag for us to trade at your next delivery.

  • Payment can be made via IBAN transfer, and we are happy to provide you with a monthly invoice including VAT tax at your request.

    Each month we will reach out to confirm your upcoming booked delivery dates and verify the total and bill for the month.

    If you need to cancel, please just reach out and let us know. We can arrange the return of any re-usable items like glass containers or insulated cooler bags, and wish you well on your way.
